What is Rutile Titanium Dioxide(Rutile TiO2)?

Rutile type titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a crystalline form of titanium dioxide that has higher stability and different physicochemical properties than the other common form, anatase titanium dioxide. Rutile TiO2 is named after its crystal structure, which belongs to the rutile crystal system.
