Foam Generator For CLC Blocks

CLC blocks are a cement bonded material made by blending a slurry of cement and injecting pre-formed foam into it. It possesses the highest compressive strength in comparison to regular clay bricks or solid blocks and is extremely lightweight with density ranging from 300 to 1800 Kg/m3 which helps in faster construction and reduces dead load on structures.

Fire Resistance: The air pockets in the block prevent fires from spreading even for 4 hours and provide excellent protection against any combustible materials such as wood, steel etc. The low water absorption property of about 50% also minimises cracking and settling in walls.

Energy Saving: The high thermal insulation of these blocks makes interiors cool during summer and warm in winter. They save air conditioning costs which can be upto 5 times lower than conventional structures.

Ease of Handling: These blocks are three times lighter than bricks and require less materials for bonding between them and hence they are easy to handle and transport. This also saves labour and transportation cost, which is a significant factor in the building of houses.

Sound Insulation: The air gaps and the solid material formed by fly ash improves the sound absorption property of these blocks to a great extent. They are very lightweight with density ranging from 300 to 1800 kg/m3 and thus provide good insulation properties, which reduces electricity expenses and also helps in keeping the houses safe from fire and other hazardous materials.
