What is Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer?
Polycarboxylate ether superplasticizer, also known as concrete water reducer, is a new generation of polycarboxylate superplasticizer made of polyoxyethylene ether macromonomer, unsaturated acid, and sulfonic acid group monomer by radical polymerization. Applying Polycarboxylate ether superplasticizer to concrete has high water reduction and low slump loss performance. It can be widely used in pumped concrete, superfluid self-compacting, high-strength, high-performance concrete, and commercial concrete.
Technical principle of superplasticizer admixture
Polycarboxylate ether superplasticizer has a comb-shaped structure, with longer polyoxyethylene chains and high-density sulfonic acid groups in the molecule, which makes it have greater steric hindrance and electrostatic repulsion, providing cement with greater dispersion and higher water reduction.
